Toyota Corolla Spasio - a roomy family compact van

Toyota Corolla Spasio - a roomy family compact MPV

Toyota Corolla Spacio, which appeared in 1997, quickly gained popularity among fans in different markets due to the combination of spaciousness, compact dimensions, quality materials and parts and impressive technical characteristics of the Toyota Corolla Spacio. The idea to create such an unusual car came after analyzing the desires of consumers. Toyota Corolla Spacio is designed for lovers of spacious cars, who, at the same time, do not like their high cost or the dimensions of full-size minivans.

Evolution of Toyota Corolla Spacio

That is why, based on the Toyota Corolla, Toyota Spasio was released, the very name of which comes from the English. space – space. This model is a compact city minivan (or simply compact van), designed to transport a large number of people or cargo.

Compact van Toyota Corolla Spasio

The first generation Toyota Corolla Spacio (E11) was produced for the Japanese market in right-hand drive and was equipped with a 1.6 liter or 1.8 liter gasoline engine (all-wheel drive vehicles only).

The initial versions were distinguished by low noise insulation and low ground clearance, which, combined with a soft suspension, was not suitable for this type of car.

In addition, the engine power was not enough when the cabin was loaded, which affected fuel consumption.

In 1999, restyling took place, and in 2001, the old body was replaced by a new one (E12). The engines were updated and now equipped with a VVT-i system. This generation of Spasio was already produced with left-hand drive (mainly for the American market and was called Verso).

In 2007, production of the third generation Toyota Corolla Spacio ceased; instead, the manufacturer continued to produce the Toyota Verso. During the evolution of Spasio, not only the technical characteristics, but also the dimensions of the car changed.

So, in 1997, the body length was 4135 mm (in 2005 - 4260 mm), width - 1690 mm (in 2005 - 1695 mm), height - 1620 mm (in 2005 it decreased by 10 mm). The wheelbase has also increased (2260 mm in the first generation, 2400 mm in the last).

Model features

The car confirms its family status with its technical characteristics.

Until a certain point, it was equipped exclusively with an automatic transmission, which made it easier for both men and women to drive, and allowed them to increase their attentiveness while driving for greater safety.

In addition, the car is equipped with an anti-lock braking system and a tire pressure monitoring system. For the convenience of the driver, all dial instruments were removed from the panel and a multi-display was installed, which displays both various indicators and alphanumeric values.

Spacious and compact Toyota Spacio

As for the technical characteristics of the Toyota Corolla Spasio, the user could choose from 1.5L, 1.8L (for front-wheel drive) and 1.8L (for all-wheel drive Corollas) engines in the latest generation of this model. At the same time, the minimum power of the car was 109 hp, the maximum – 132 hp. There is already a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Toyota Corolla Spacio is equipped with electric windows, central locking, electric mirrors, sunroof (optional), airbags (standard 2), and a rear view camera can be installed.

What else does Spasio please its owners?

The undoubted advantages of the car include a wide viewing angle thanks to good glazing and the openness of Spasio. Combined with the high seating position, this reduces the likelihood of a collision when exiting, even in difficult situations.

Salon of Toyota Corolla Spasio

Spasio has three rows of seats. The additional row in the middle is removable and is designed to carry two children. The front passenger seat can be rotated 180 degrees towards the children's row.

The middle seats can also be transformed into a table, and the salon itself can be transformed into two large sofas, each of which can accommodate an adult.

For additional convenience, the Toyota Corolla Spacio has a variety of accessories: shelves, cup holders, sockets and other little things, without which the trip would not be so comfortable.

Thus, the Toyota Corolla Spasio, a roomy compact van, is a full-fledged family car, designed both for moving around the city and for long trips with maximum comfort. The quality and reliability of Toyota makes this car irreplaceable in any situation!

Transformation of the interior of Toyota Spacio in a 6-seater version. — logbook Toyota Corolla Spacio Family transformer 1997 on DRIVE2

I took pictures a long time ago about how everything is being transformed, maybe someone will find it interesting. So, we have a 6-seater configuration, the heaviest: 4 adult seats and a middle teen row.

In the city and for short distances, the eldest son sits by the window, and in the central place there is a child seat for my daughter (soon 2 years old) - the seat fits, although our Romer seat is not small and the legs and girls are in the opening of the front seats.

With the middle row in the back, of course, it’s not mega free for an adult, but the space is like in a VAZ 2109, for example.

Toyota Spacio AE111. Salon. Review

In our configuration, the front passenger seat rotates 180 degrees, which can be convenient if you need to, say, put on snowboard boots while sitting in the car)) Rotate 90 degrees:

Well, a complete reversal. I’ll say right away that the automation does not allow you to drive the car until the seat returns to its original position.

Now a little about the average children and teenagers. Their seat has two positions, one for children (higher), the other for teenagers (lower). They are not attached to each other. When we have our daughter’s safety seat, the seats are in this combination:

and you can do it like this:

Or you can move the seats to the lower position and fold down the back of the middle row. A children's table appears. It’s a shame that the driver’s seat doesn’t recline like the passenger’s, but underneath there is a large storage bin that, for comparison, can fit my wife’s size 37 sneakers.

This wonderful table can be lifted up to create a lot of space in the back. The headrests from the middle row, which are visible in the armrests of the rear passengers, must be stuck into the table; it has special holes at the top end for this.

Toyota Spacio AE111. Salon. Review

As for the trunk: by default it is very modest, well, very, although with us it is always almost empty:

But if you don’t have enough of it, then you can move the back row 60cm forward and then the trunk will look like this:

Toyota Spacio AE111. Salon. Review

Here I must say that the middle row does not interfere at all with moving the back row forward. Everything is calculated by the Japanese to mm. What do I like about this performance? The fact that you can ride in the back lying down.

When we went on a long drive, it was normal in the back; with our legs fully extended, the second driver could sleep and gain strength. In addition, the backrests can be tilted forward and the same skis or snowboard can be placed. When we travel in winter, we drive this way.

Friends called this the VIP place in Spasio.

Let's go back to the trunk. You don't have enough space. Then you can fold the rear seat, after moving it as far forward as possible. It turns out like this. Here is the trunk:

Another view of the back row in the farthest position:

And the distance in front to the front passengers. Pay attention to the removed second row in the background (its headrests are in it, as I wrote about above):

In winter, I transported a friend from the hospital, who had a cast on his leg above the knee and could not bend his leg. If it weren’t for Spasio’s salon, I don’t know how he would have gotten home.

And here is the last photo: The back row is moved as far forward as possible, but the rear passengers still have a lot of space.

“Toyota Spasio” – a compact minivan

Japanese marketing specialists came to the conclusion that the Toyota model range should be expanded by a spacious minivan. However, the key point was price.

This car was developed specifically for a certain category of buyer. Namely, for those who wanted to have a spacious car, but did not have sufficient funds.

"Toyota Corolla Spasio" met all the requirements.

Although these models were budget, they were not inferior in quality to more expensive options. This car has outstanding driving characteristics and is relatively easy to maintain and operate.

Otherwise, users would never have seen this model in the list of leaders in a segment that is extremely competitive.

True, many motorists have repeatedly complained about the rather simple external design of the car.

In 1997, the first model of a compact five-door minivan was introduced. The sales market was limited only to Japan. Toyota Spasio E11 served as the beginning of the first generation of cars in this line. It was equipped with injection units of 1.6 (4A-FE) and 1.8 (7A-FE) liters.

However, the first car had several significant shortcomings. First of all, this is a low level of sound insulation. While driving in the cabin, passengers did not feel comfortable due to the constant sounds coming from the street.

It is also worth noting that the air conditioning and heating system needed improvement. The low ground clearance significantly complicated the movement of the car when loaded. Motors of type 4A turned out to be too weak for the Toyota Spasio minivan.

The characteristics of their operation indicated significant shortcomings: fuel consumption almost doubled if there was cargo in the cabin.

In 2001, it was decided to release the second generation of Spasio E12. Compared to the first one, the model has been completely modified. The body has now acquired beautiful smooth lines, the shape of the glass and optics have become more complex. The bumper in the new Toyota Spasio has completely changed.

The technical characteristics of the engine were also modernized, the car was now equipped with a VVT-i system. The second generation was sold not only in Japan, but also in the USA, so they produced models with a versatile steering wheel arrangement. This is exactly what domestic car enthusiasts liked.

However, the models intended for the American markets were called Corolla Verso.

The Spasio was discontinued in 2005, and the left-hand Verso was discontinued in 2009.

Technical characteristics of Toyota Spasio

The technical characteristics of the car and the equipment, even in our time, can hardly be called outdated. Their condition even after 10 years is enviable. If we talk about reliability and durability, then the car is in perfect order with these disciplines.

In shopping centers, cars were offered with several types of gasoline engines (from 109 to 136 horsepower). The 1.5 unit is based on 1NZ-FE, and the 1.8 is based on 1ZZ-FE. The second generation models were both all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive.

The Toyota Corolla Spasio continued to be equipped with an automatic transmission. However, some cars were also equipped with manual transmissions (5 gears).

Equipment

All cars are quite richly equipped. The starting version of Comfort offered an airbag (4 airbags), an air conditioning system, front power accessories, heated mirrors and seats, but only for the driver and passenger, a CD system, EBS, ABS.

In the Elegance package, the airbag was supplemented with front airbags, + climate control, foglights and full power accessories.

Finally, the “top” version of the Toyota Spasio included additional climate sensors, the option to start the internal combustion engine by pressing a button, and wheel casting.

Possible breakdowns

Toyota cars have long been famous for their stable performance and endurance, and the Corolla models are no exception. The basic power unit operates practically without breakdowns. The main costs are for consumables: wires, spark plugs.

True, there are still complaints about the power unit: it often breaks down the VVT-i phase distribution valve, which controls the oil supply to the fluid coupling. Most engines operate with a timing chain drive, there are no problems here.

The mechanical gearboxes installed on some Toyota Spasio models deserve the highest praise; they have proven themselves to be the best. They require oil changes on schedule, and otherwise do not bother motorists.

The same cannot be said about the operation of the machine, which is known for its capriciousness. Often it is necessary to replace the control program, clutch, and actuators.

Engineers tried to make some adjustments to the functioning of the units, and they work more correctly, but are far from perfect.

The Toyota Spasio E12 model has a durable and reliable suspension design. Sometimes the front McPherson may make knocking noises in the cold, but this is not a cause for concern and does not affect the performance of the chassis. The rear suspension is “eternal”, however, you will have to change the shock absorbers as their service life expires.

Reviews Toyota Corolla Spacio 1997 minivan (Toyota reviews)

Gennady Sokolov 10/04/2010: “The impression of the car turned out to be so positive that I practically didn’t think twice about buying it (even though I had to borrow a little...) I was convinced by the equipment - ABC, power accessories, automatic transmission, 2 airbags, 4WD all-wheel drive, transformable rear row of seats, adjustable

steering wheel, power steering, air conditioning, on-board computer, kickdown, excellent trunk, retractable wheel. It's very spacious inside, comfortable to get in and out of if you're of average or tall height, high driving position, excellent visibility in all directions.

Driving is easy and simple, especially on good roads, although we have to use 92 gasoline on ours.
Noise insulation is weak, especially noticeable on uneven roads. Silent blocks replaced everything. They pierced the racks - I replaced them. Bearings periodically flew, especially non-original ones.

The price of spare parts is, of course, considerable, but if the situation is not neglected, then everything is found and corrected in at least a week, at most a month. Spasek's right-hand drive crystal headlights cannot be adjusted to our style. I had to install bi-xenon (oops) bi-halogen headlights! modules..."

Sergey Tyurin 10/28/2010: “Small, compared to similar minivans..., quick response, easy to maneuver on roads. Even though the engine is 1.8, it consumes little...-7 per 100 km, of course, at speeds over 120 and above it starts to consume more. Convenient both with family... and alone to the store for a loaf of bread.

In the city and beyond.
The layout of the seats is inconvenient - it’s impossible to lay them flat... With a mileage of 110,000 km, I had to change the front right-hand drive... Almost immediately I replaced the rear semi-strut springs with stiffer ones... - from the specifics...

, began to ride a little harder, but when fully loaded it doesn’t catch on the mudguards on the pits...”

Rasul Khairutdinov 11/26/2010: “I bought a car about a year ago, just on the recommendation of a friend who persuaded me to change the Taz2109 to any Japanese one.

I chose this car because it amazed me with its interior, how convenient it is to transport something like a refrigerator or washing machine, while from the outside it does not look like a giant. Well, you can say a lot of different things based on appearance. Even the boys in the yard started to freak out about his appearance.

But all their ideas about the car boiled down to a ten or a Priora, so there was nothing to argue about. During the year of service, I changed the stabilizer strut boots, left ball joint, and a bunch of wipers. My appetite is not small, but tolerable. I agree to such expenses. I only have 4 seats, so if the family grows, I’ll have to change it to something bigger.

The car is noisy, everything in the cabin is bugged... the large windage from the trucks makes you bounce on the highway and in strong winds. The ground clearance can be problematic in the summer on a dirt road in a rut, and in the winter on a rut too. I don’t even know what to replace such a paw with…”

bugaevaev 02/09/2011: “Great car for the city! The compact car is very convenient in city traffic jams, and is probably the leader in terms of visibility. On crossovers the visibility is much less. Everything is thought out, except I would add rear sonars and an armrest for the front passenger.

Another drawback in terms of characteristics is that the load capacity is only 275 kg (that’s 4 small Japs), but we are much larger! Despite its modest dimensions, the interior can accommodate PVC panels (2.7 m), a washing machine of any brand, an electric oven, and small furniture. The rear door opens conveniently.

In winter, starting up to -25 degrees is no problem.
practically no problems, only when changing the oil. The bumper must be taken care of, the plastic is very weak, but elastic. In severe frosts (below -30), the door locks can freeze, the doors cannot be slammed (after the fifth time), and also with the gas tank flap.

Sometimes at very low temperatures the low tire pressure warning light comes on, and that’s all the problems.”

Sergey Nikolaychuk 02/14/2011: “I bought the car at an auction in 2007. I’ve been driving it for four years and have no plans to change it yet. Very comfortable fit, ergonomics. And the fact that the rear seats can be folded in different positions also plays a very important role. Sometimes you have to transport something large - it really helps.

When you need to load more people into the cabin (weddings, outdoors, etc., the rear folding seats are very helpful). You can seat either two children or one adult. The luggage compartment, I think, is also quite large - if you are on vacation with your family, you can load enough. Engine 1.5 l. – 109 hp Basically enough. There are no problems with operation, just an oil change.

A very comfortable car.
There were no problems"

ivdeka 06.26.2011: “This is the sixth car in my driving career. In operation were Zhiguli, 2- Toyota Corona, Toyota Raum and Toyota Vista. When choosing a new purchase, I wanted to combine such qualities as reliability, spaciousness, efficiency, ergonomics and speed in one car. The 2001 Corjlla Spacio turned out to be just such a car.

The load - 5 people do not notice at all (I didn’t try to plant 7 people - there was no need). In urban environments, Land Cruisers and the like are always left behind; there is always a parking space. When traveling intercity, the speed is 120 - 140 without problems. Fuel consumption – city – 9 l. per 100 km. intercity – 6.5 – 7 l. per 100 km. I'm 100% happy with the car.

There were no problems"

Alexander Glushkov 06/27/2011: “Before this car, I had a Zhiguli VAZ 2123.2105,2193, a Toyota Corolla 1999. Spaska is several orders of magnitude taller than ours and an order of magnitude taller than her sister. Roomy, high seating position, comfortable riding position, powerful engine and much more packed into it.

We were in an accident with her, a motorcyclist drove into our head-on, thank God he survived, although he was crippled, and we repaired ourselves and are back together again. I will not exchange it for any Priora or Kalina, or especially an E-mobile, ever.

If there was an opportunity, I would take the same one but younger, but alas, now it has become difficult, and this model is not available in official showrooms.
No problem"

Anna Inova 11/22/2011: “Spacio is my first car. I purchased it three years ago, and at the same time received my license. I want to say, this is my favorite car, which I care for and cherish like my child, from the first moment I saw it.

During its operation, I can confidently say that this is a reliable car in every sense, especially in our harsh Far Eastern winters with strong winds and frosts, and difficult road conditions. It is worth noting that all-wheel drive is activated from the button, which gives more confidence when driving.

Fuel consumption is acceptable, and with timely maintenance it is possible to prevent serious disruptions in operation. Maneuverable, easy to use, with good sound insulation, and, which is important for me given my short stature, the seating position is convenient and comfortable. At the moment I can say that I don’t want to exchange it for another car.

Although in our region we have no problems with choosing a car, our soul lies precisely in it.
There were no problems as such. The usual replacement of consumables, the acquisition of which was not particularly difficult.”

Alexey Dyakov 01/20/2012: “At first I had a SPASIO, produced in 1997, front-wheel drive, 1600 engine. A good car for a family, a children's double sofa was located in the middle of the cabin, it was very comfortable, an adult could easily sit on the sofa. The car is nimble, maneuverable, and fuel consumption on the highway is minimal.

But the rear shock absorbers failed and quickly failed. The children still remember that car; it was a pity to sell it. This is our fourth year of SPASIO 2001, all-wheel drive slightly increases fuel consumption, but in icy or snowy conditions there are no problems. Beautiful design, spacious interior, good visibility and handling, maximum equipment.

The only drawback is the useless seats in the trunk, they are very uncomfortable and we don’t use them.
The middle row of seats also cannot be completely retracted. When cornering, the side pillars of the small front windows get in the way. But otherwise a good car. We can say that both cars are very irreplaceable for a family. The main thing is to change consumable fluids on time.

The weak point of the chassis is the rear suspension shock absorbers; they fail very quickly.”

Corolla Spacio is a Toyota compact van produced from 1997 to 2009.

Development

The marketing divisions of Toyota have come to the conclusion that there is a niche of consumers who dream of purchasing a minivan, but refuse to purchase due to the high cost or because a full-fledged minivan is large in size, which is not always convenient for everyday use. For such buyers, a modification of Spasio (from the English word space) was developed based on the regular Toyota Corolla.

Concept

Engine compartment with 4A-FE engine

In the basic version the Corolla Spacio is a five-door family city minivan with three rows of seats, with the middle removable additional seats designed to carry only two children.

Much attention is paid specifically to family use, including a female driver, namely: the car is equipped exclusively with an automatic transmission, anti-lock brake system and an air pressure monitoring system in the wheels.

There is not a single dial instrument on the dashboard - there is an electronic display with alphanumeric and mnemonic indications. The seating position of the driver and passengers is quite high, which, with large glazing in the body, provides excellent external visibility. Large rear view mirrors.

The front passenger seat can be rotated 180 degrees backwards (towards children). Child seats can be transformed into a dining table. The cabin has many different shelves and accessories, including built-in cup holders, additional interior lighting, power outlets and many other useful little things.

Electric windows, sunroof (if equipped), adjustable mirrors, central locking, two airbags with automatic belt tensioners are used. A reversing video camera and fog lights can be optionally installed.

A distinctive feature of the first generation Corolla Spacio is the installation of the rear row of seats on a kind of “podium”. With the middle row of seats removed, passengers are provided with enormous living space. Additional space allows you to take bags (cargo) with you into the cabin.

First generation

Corolla Spacio, rear left view

The first generation (E11) existed only in right-hand drive and was produced exclusively for the Japanese market. Corolla Spacio was equipped with four-cylinder in-line injection engines of 1.6 and 1 volume.

8 liters (“4A-FE” and “7A-FE”, respectively) with fully electronic (digital) control, and the 1.8-liter engine was installed only on all-wheel drive versions.

The body is developed on the basis of the eighth generation Toyota Corolla - AE111 for front-wheel drive and AE112 for all-wheel drive models.

Among the features of the Spacio design solutions, one can, for example, note the presence of a rear anti-roll bar in the chassis.

Among the shortcomings of the model, domestic users note mediocre sound insulation of the cabin, insufficient performance of the heater/air conditioner, low ground clearance combined with a soft suspension, and the obvious weakness of the 4A engine, which when loading the cabin causes a significant increase in fuel consumption - the estimated load capacity of the car is only 260 kg, that is three adults (80 kg each) and one young child (20 kg).

Restyling and second generation

Second generation model

In 1999, there was a slight restyling of the model, and in 2001 the body was completely replaced with a new one (E12) - along with design improvements, the raised platform under the rear sofa was removed, the electronic display was replaced with electromechanical scale indicators.

The engines were changed; now they were all equipped with the VVT-i system. It is worth noting that this generation of cars was produced not only with right-hand drive, but also with left-hand drive - mainly for the US market and was called Corolla Verso. In 2004, a new generation of Corolla Verso was released.

Toyota discontinued the Corolla Spacio in 2005, and the Verso ceased production in 2009.

According to Auto Bild magazine, which publishes annual car reliability ratings in Germany AUTO BILD TÜV-Report, Toyota Corolla Verso became the most reliable among passenger cars aged 2 to 3 years in 2008.

Toyota Corolla Spacio / Toyota Corolla Spacio

Toyota Corolla Spacio is a compact 7-seater minivan with three rows of seats. The first generation was released in 1997. Corolla Spacio was developed specifically for the Japanese domestic market, so the model is offered in right-hand drive. An analogue of this minivan is available on the European market – Corolla Verso.

When developing the Toyota Corolla Spacio, engineers were guided by the fact that there are a large number of car enthusiasts who dream of purchasing a minivan, but cannot afford it due to inflated prices. In addition, bulky minivans are inconvenient for everyday use in cramped urban environments.

Therefore, it was decided to build a compact model that has all the qualities of a family car. Toyota Corolla Spacio is based on the regular Corolla platform. Toyota engineers took into account the fact that the Corolla Spacio, as a family minivan, can be driven not only by men, but also by women.

Therefore, the car is equipped exclusively with an automatic transmission to make driving as easy as possible.

The second generation Toyota Corolla Spacio appeared in 2001. The car received a wide number of changes related to design and technical parts. Corolla Spacio was equipped with VVT-i petrol engines with a volume of 1.5 liters or 1.8 liters.

In most cases, the Toyota Corolla Spacio comes with front-wheel drive. However, there are also all-wheel drive modifications with a 1.8-liter engine producing 125 hp.

Production of the Toyota Corolla Spacio stopped in 2005, but production of the European version of the Corolla Verso continues.

Toyota Corolla Spacio – 2004

An excellent seven-seater family car.

An excellent seven-seater family car. Took it from auction in 2012. With mileage of 36,000 km. In 3 years I covered another 75,000 km. no breakdowns, I only changed the front struts, hammers and tires. But there is one little space. I am 190 cm tall. Toyota Corolla Spacio – 1999

Great Japanese

Good afternoon. I purchased a 1998 Corolla Spacio in 2013. A good family car, a spacious convertible interior, in fact the car is billed as a minivan, although in my opinion this is said loudly. Toyota Corolla Spacio – 2003

Durable, reliable

Toyota Corolla is classified as a European class C car. This class has the greatest competition, so you can rest assured that the manufacturers will try. The availability of spare parts for this car is a big plus. The car turned out to be very durable and quite inexpensive. Toyota Corolla Spacio – 2003

Very cool car

Toyota Corolla Spacio is a really awesome car, especially for girls who have a hard time with a manual transmission. An easy to drive and extremely safe car for the whole family. My friend recently purchased it, and after trying it, I realized that this is what I need too! Toyota Corolla Spacio – 2003

I have been the proud owner of a Toyota Corolla Spasio for five years now. The impressions from this car are the most positive. Like any Toyota Corolla, it is economical, unpretentious and easy to maintain, the main thing is to change everything in a timely manner and drive carefully. Toyota Corolla Spacio – 2003

Toyota Corolla Spacio 2003 – a car for all occasions

When my husband decided to buy a Toyota Spasio, I didn’t like it at first, I was used to sedans, but this is a minivan. Less than a month later, I fell in love with this car. Toyota Corolla Spacio – 1999

Toyota Corolla Spacio 2003 is the perfect family car

We bought our Spasya in 2007 directly from Japan (from a ship in Novorossiysk). We drove it for five years without any worries. The car is cozy inside, nice on the outside, consumes fuel economically, and is nimble. On it we managed to transport long pipes, baseboards and other things for home renovation. It doesn't break! not capricious, just great!

My little queen is 15 years old. During the time I owned it, I managed to become convinced that I don’t need any more cars besides Toyotas. I only change consumables - two. In four years I only needed to replace the distributor - and at the same time it starts in any frost without any frills! With a volume of one and five it goes quickly (more than 140,... Normal car

Like all Corollas, it is very economical and reliable. Fuel consumption does not exceed 10 liters in the city. Engines from the A series are very reliable. The car is very easy to maintain. The chassis is not bad overall. Toyota Corolla Spacio – 1999

freedom and maneuverability

I started driving a VAZ 2106. It’s a good car. I just have a question. Is it necessary to support a domestic car manufacturer? Let's support other domestic producers, but I don't want that.

Toyota Corolla Spacio – Wikipedia Reissue

I actually love functionality; I immediately wanted to buy a car that had everything. There are no heated seats or rear view camera. Very good sound...

5Spaska is my second car. I've been away for five years. Everything is just great. I bought it without mileage. Consumables are kept to a minimum annually. In the fifth year, I only remembered the little things, like steering tips, silent blocks and other little things. It is comfortable to drive with one or a full car. And how much cargo is transported on it...)) On the highway, the Toyota Corolla Spacio flies like a swallow and does not tire you in the city. It’s even a pity to leave... but the family demands to update the car. Advantages of the car: Economy, practicality, reliability, comfort. Disadvantages: Bright interior.

I've been riding Spaska for a whole year now. During this time, I can say the following: 1. Its dynamics are like those of minivans, which are intended for families, i.e. you can’t drive it. According to my measurements, if you go...

6Very roomy, rear seat passengers have plenty of room, the child seat and 3rd row can be removed to create a spacious trunk. The device is 7-seater and, as I expected, 109 liters. With. not enough with an engine capacity of 1.5 liters, that’s why I chose 1.8l 132l. With. Economical, not expensive to operate. For a long time I was looking for just such a car with a displacement of 1800, 132 horses. When fully loaded on the highway - 6.4 liters at a speed of 100 km/h, in the city - 6.8-7 liters, as expected according to the specifications. Dynamic and quite playful, that’s why the Japs don’t sell us much in 1, 8 and 132 hp configurations. With. - apparently we like it ourselves.
