Regular enamel on metal will not work. For local car painting, only original paint and special equipment are used. Local painting is a complete and high-quality repair of metal and plastic body parts.
This type of work is effective only in cases where the area of damage to the coating is less than 30%. If the damage is more serious, then the entire element must be completely restored. The entire area of the element is varnished and repainted.

After grinding, it is necessary to re-degrease and blow off the surface. Now this is necessary to get rid of small metal particles that arose during the grinding process. Most often, putty is made in several layers. The number of layers depends on the depth of the dent. For example, if a small stone strikes the body, then it will be enough to apply one thin layer. In the event of a minor collision with another vehicle in a traffic jam or while parking, you may need much more layers.
- Surface leveling and adjustment . The pre-dried and puttied element is treated with abrasive materials, then sanded and blown.
- Primer . The element must be treated with several layers of soil. Most often, the coating is applied in 3 layers. Each layer must be dried before applying the next.
- Processing the primed area . The element is again subjected to blowing and degreasing. For better smoothing and adjustment, abrasive materials are sometimes used.
