Review of Toyota Corolla 2004 release

Review from the owner of Toyota Corolla 2004

Year of issue: 2004

Body: Hatchback (5 doors)

Engine: 1.6 l, Gasoline, automatic transmission, 110 hp.

Purchased: August 2016

Mileage: 220,000 km

Drive: Front

Hi all! Today we will talk about a car that we got from relatives. Why did we get it... it so happened that we sold our Tuareg to expand our living conditions and started looking for a cheaper car.

Relatives offered their Toyota Coroll. Without thinking too much, we agreed and bought this car. There were no such cars in good condition on the market at that time...

Externally, we liked the car, and what can we expect from 2004. Of course there are chords, etc., but at least a little bit of a family car was needed. By the way, this hatchback is very roomy, although it seems small.

Perhaps there is nothing special to say about the appearance, like all Toyotas in those years.

As for the engine, 1.6 110 horsepower. In short, this is not enough. In the city you can still drive normally, even if you are alone in the car. A machine was created to slowly transport your butt from place to place.

I’ll say right away that we had problems with the 3ZZ engine, which is what powers this car. In cylinder 4, the compression became 4 points, this is due to improper cooling of exactly that same cylinder. Although it seems to me that the mileage is already taking its toll :-))

We installed a contract one, now everything is fire, it doesn’t stall and drives a little more vigorously. On three cylinders it was absolutely terrible. By the way, the engine cost 55 and also a replacement. This motor is not cheap, it is quite rare. If someone takes such a car, be careful not to tamper with it too much, otherwise there will be trouble. This caught up with us after the purchase.

Salon. I like the salon, there is nothing unusual, but everything is convenient and accessible. It feels like it was made for the driver, and not just for prying eyes.

The seats have some kind of lateral support, although it’s not entirely clear why it is needed if you don’t have much fun in the car. But it’s worth paying tribute to, it’s comfortable and pleasant to sit) There is one nuance, the lumbar part at the back pushes you forward somewhere, you want to move it back a little... There’s enough space in the back, it will definitely be convenient to move around the city.

Perhaps it’s worth talking about the trunk in this section too. It is decent, I would say big for this car. You can load bags, strollers, everything should fit)

What can I say from the suspension, it is energy-intensive. Not hard and not soft, but if in good condition it is a pleasure to drive. It seemed to me that the pads were wearing out quickly, perhaps it was from a bad company. I'll change it and it will be clear.

In the end, I want to say about service prices... What can I say, this is a Toyota :-)) Everything is relatively cheap, there are no problems with spare parts. You can take something other than the original and be happy.

Little oil is needed - 3.5 liters. The last time I changed it was in 2000, I think. Candles 1000.

I bought tires - 12,000.

I bought a motor – 55,000. + replacement – 8,000. But the motor doesn’t count, I don’t think it’s such a common problem.

I’ll do the walk in August, I’ll post the results.

Review of the car:

* Reliability
* Ergonomics

* Boring * Engine is weak * Lights * Overpriced

* Noise insulation

Toyota Corolla and in Africa Toyota Corolla. Reliable and fast car. I was lucky enough to drive a 2004 Corolla, 3ZZ-FE engine, 110 hp. s., with left-hand drive and, most importantly, with mechanics. And for me this is a really important moment. I've driven quite a bit now.

But almost immediately after receiving my license, I drove a car with an automatic transmission, with the exception of a couple of times when I “drove” on a “penny”. In general, I have lost my manual driving skills. When I first got behind the wheel of my new car, honestly, I felt like a complete idiot. I didn’t understand why I couldn’t start normally or change gears.

She either stalled or twitched. I tried to apply gas, then it was still more or less normal. Friends suggested that the problem might not be with me, but with the car itself, namely the clutch. We drove it to the service station. We checked. Replaced the clutch disc. After these manipulations, driving became easier. Maybe it's just the power of self-hypnosis? I actually don’t understand much about the technical part of a car.

So just... the basics. But the main thing is that I started to move and shift normally. In principle, if the transmission had been an automatic, the Corolla would have stayed with me for a long time (well, I like an automatic more than a manual). What can I say about the interior? Quite comfortable. Solid four finish. I didn’t like the fabric on the seats; although it’s gray, it gets dirty quickly.

I spilled water, and even after drying there was a small stain left on the seat. Now about the advantages of this car. In winter it’s warm in the cabin, the stove is hot. But what I especially liked was the heated front seats. In the conditions of our harsh Siberian winters, this option is more useful than ever. It's easy to drive around the city - light and maneuverable. The suspension is soft and reliable. Nothing even rattled or knocked.

In terms of cross-country ability, it is sometimes not inferior even to a SUV. But, of course, you need to know when to stop. I once had a case: we drove through snow-covered fields in such a way that we were then pulled out by three cars, two of which “sat down” with us. And only Niva saved us all. But these are rare cases and depend on the degree of idiocy of the driver. But you definitely won’t get stuck in cramped and poorly cleared courtyards.

And the price of Korollka is not falling. I bought a car in 2014 for 340 thousand rubles. I look at the prices today - they all vary within the same limits. The Corolla is good, no matter how you look at it!

Since 2004 I have been driving a Toyota Corolla Verso. Front-wheel drive, engine 1, 8.

There are also cruise control, a 6-disc CD changer, a rain sensor, climate control, as many as 9 (!) airbags, a sunroof, a multifunction steering wheel, button ignition, leather on the steering wheel, parking sensors and much more useful things. After the first year There were no breakdowns during operation. I drove about 20,000 for it.

If we compare Toyota with other cars of the same class, approximately the same cost and, say, quality, then I would unconditionally assign the palm to Toyota. I like this car completely. I don’t know about others, because as they say about tastes... You can always dig around and find a bunch of shortcomings. Some people like it, some don't. For 1.8 l.

The engine is very decent, 129 hp. s., and it works almost silently at speeds up to 100 km/h. It takes about 10 seconds to accelerate to 100 km. I note good tightness. The suspension is quite stiff, but this is only on uneven surfaces. It rides smoothly on a flat road. The chosen tire also plays a big role. For example, I am a Michelin lover.

Gasoline consumption is standard. How you drive around the city is the same indicator. Up to 60 – 9 liters, up to 90 km/h – 10 liters, etc. If you drive quickly and without stopping at traffic lights (for example), the consumption is minimal. I drive calmly, without jerks or jumps. Consumption is approximately 8 liters. I am pleased with the ergonomics of the machine. Everything is convenient and thought out. Comfortable seats, even for a tall person.

The steering wheel and seats are easily and comfortably adjusted. Music "Panasonic". 6 speakers. In my opinion, there is no need for more. Beautiful torpedo. Three glove compartments. The rear view mirror automatically dims at night. Your eyes never get tired of car headlights blinding you in the back. Comfort in a word. By and large, there are a lot of positive aspects in Toyota.

I will continue to list. The car has large doors, and when you get into the car, you don’t have to bend over, as you do in most other cars. Ride quality is also excellent. It behaves steadily when cornering. The rear seats are very easy to disassemble and assemble. You get a huge trunk. Toyota is easy to drive. Light steering. The brakes are excellent.

Top class review. The parking sensors are simple, but they ring loudly and loudly. Parking is a real pleasure. Well, I can add a few minor drawbacks (again, in my opinion): – the front armrests are very small; – be careful when opening doors, do not hit them in the face.

And this is very easy to do, since the doors are huge; – I already wrote about the suspension, but I’ll repeat it. A bit harsh. On rough roads it is very noticeable. – the rear window gets dirty quickly in bad weather. I also think that my car looks excellent. If you rate it on a 5-point scale, then I would give it a solid 4. I’ll probably shut up on this for now.

In the end, I will say that every car can be either praised or praised, but you always need to get into the car and drive it. Then make the final decision. In this class of cars, in my opinion, there is no better car. Even based on the “price-quality” criterion. As they say: “Toyota – drive your dream.” And everyone knows this.

Good equipment. Visibility. Excellent ergonomics. Comfortable seating. Large interior. Stiff suspension. Rear window gets dirty quickly. See another 1098 reviews of Toyota Corolla → Full review

I got the Corolla from my husband, before that I drove my Getz and from time to time my husband gave me the Corolla. Then he got himself an Audi. This is the fourth year that the “cow” has been in the family. Automatic car, 1.

6, hatchback, 4 years of production. Now I drive it for work, I work as a lawyer, sometimes in a day I need to go to several organizations, and on weekends out of town with my family to the dacha. In four years we have driven almost 70 thousand kilometers. There were no serious breakdowns; routine inspections were carried out.

Among the replacements I can remember pads, brake discs, spark plugs, front right strut, drive seal, low beam bulbs, handbrake adjustment, various filters. Now, as a driver, I can talk about driving features, for example, the higher the speed, the quieter it is in the cabin, how I don’t know how to explain this.

On the highway, the Korollka is sensitive to side winds, it sways noticeably when you drive at speeds above 90. It accelerates slowly, you press the gas twice and feel the gear shift jerkily. I didn’t notice this in the city because I don’t drive. In winter it starts well, but takes a very long time to warm up. I didn’t get into an accident, the bumper was dented once, but the service department quickly fixed it.

When driving, I can hear creaking somewhere in the area of the glove compartment, well, the car is not the first day, I don’t pay attention. Oh, I remembered that women’s rallies are held in our city from time to time, in the spring I took part, became fourth, then I had just moved to Korovka after Goetz and didn’t immediately get used to its dimensions - that’s what let me down.

Conclusion: Corolla is certainly not a dream car, as they advertise themselves, and, unfortunately, it is not a stylish car for a lady, an ordinary city Japanese man copes with its responsibilities. But, you know, how it happens - I drive this one, but look at others. Other pros and cons are summarized below.

Pros: – Solid interior, excellent instrument panel, spacious glove compartment, convenient storage in the console, in the armrest – High driving position – Convenient steering wheel controls – Climate control, rain sensor – Automatic transmission works smoothly – Ground clearance good! – Almost doesn’t eat oil – Maneuverability is one of the best, I make a U-turn in one step – Sensitive brake pedal, it took a long time to get used to, but then I appreciated all the charm – it reacts faster than me)) – Large wheels, it’s convenient to drive through holes – Spacious trunk, including folding seats – The car is popular, spare parts are always available Cons: – The pedals are located close to each other – Poor sound insulation of the wheel arches – The suspension is harsh, you especially feel it outside the city – It is inconvenient to fasten the seat belt – The internal door handles are inconveniently located, very far away, you need to bend over backwards to close the doors - Strange operation of the glass washer, at 2 different services they said that this is not a breakdown, but a feature - Not very convenient rear visibility - Not enough space for rear passengers - The stove warms up slowly, especially the legs - Very expensive maintenance and service in general.

This device was purchased in January 2009. We needed a RELIABLE VEHICLE. Before me, two women took turns steering it. The car was driven to the station, where no crime was detected. This is not a crime: a scratch with a small dent on the door and fender, the crankcase plug was leaking and a couple of lamps did not light up.

The car was serviced at a company station. After purchase, I replaced all filters, belts, and fluids. In three years of operation it has already driven 70,000 km. Today the mileage is 125,000. I use 92 or 95 gasoline and now only at BP. I didn't notice much of a difference. Previously, sometimes, subjectively, I rode better on the 92nd than on the 95th. I think it’s about the quality of 95, or more precisely, the additives that make 92 95.

Now I’ve finished experimenting with gas stations and settled on VR. During operation I replaced: 1. Battery. My native Japanese one died in the 7th year of her life. I put Wartu. 2. Front wheel hub bearing for 100,000 km. 3. A couple of silent blocks. The rest is scheduled maintenance or consumables. The brake discs wear out - bastards, I've already changed them 2 times. 10,000 rub. – work + disks.

Pads as they wear, oil, filters, belts and fluids according to schedule. The low beam lamps burned out. I installed non-standard ones with increased light output. Koito for 2500 rubles per pair!!! A year later they burned down. Installed OSRAM. That's it... Sometimes something creaks in the front panel. The plastic is non-irritating and pleasant to the touch. The air conditioner cools. The stove is heating. The radio is playing.

No MP3, but manufactured in 2004, then it was normal. The sound is satisfactory. Even good for a standard radio and speakers. The trunk is large and fits a lot. The salon is quite roomy (among its classmates). The steering wheel and seat are adjustable. You can customize it for yourself. I had no problems with landing.

The suspension is comfortable and reliable, the ground clearance is sufficient to navigate Russian urban off-road conditions. I filled the dent, painted over the scratches, and repainted the hood (all - 9,000 rubles). There were too many chips on the hood from pebbles on the highway, but there was no corrosion. In frost down to -38 and heat up to +38 it started without problems. I go every day.

Sometimes the mileage per day reached 1000 km on country roads. I didn't feel any discomfort. I move around St. Petersburg, Leningrad, Novgorod and Pskov regions. Consumption. I drive calmly. Now, in winter it was 7.5-8 liters in the city. If you go. In traffic jams it gets to 10-11, this is when you drive 30 km for 1.5 hours. On the highway about 6 at a speed of 100-110 mph.

This is a measurement based on actual consumption, not computer data. Japanese assembly. For the money that I spent on it when purchasing it (380,000 rubles) and using it for 3 years, it is a more than adequate car.

For my money - one big plus. Taking into account my costs for it, ease of movement and mileage - there are none. See another 1098 reviews of Toyota Corolla → Full review

Good afternoon! I bought my car in 2009 with a mileage of 104,000 km. for 340,000 rubles. 1.6, manual. I drive quite a bit because... I work close to home, so the mileage today is 135,000 km.

Service: at 120,000 I changed all the shock absorbers, branded ones cost around 3,800 rubles, I took a kayaba, which cost an average of about 2,000 apiece, when replacing it, it turned out that Toyota installed exactly the same ones, the only thing was that I had to drill out the mounting eye a little, the kayaba had a little less (although modification by numbers one to one).

I changed all the brake discs, installed some from a German company, which cost about 10,000 rubles. Accordingly, the pads, I don’t remember the cost, were branded. That's all from the big one for now. I changed the spark plugs in small ways, did the wheel alignment, and changed the low beam bulbs. By the way, I recommend installing Phillips bulbs, the light is very pleasing. Cost 1100 rub. pair.

I use Toyota 5w40 oil (change every 10,000 km), fill up with AI 95 if possible at bp. I get service from a friend, so I don’t write about prices for work. In terms of driving performance: Dynamics start only from 3-3.5 rpm, so be careful with overtaking. Noise insulation corresponds to the class of the car, I would like it better. I am pleased with the fairly high ground clearance, enough for parking everywhere in the city.

The suspension is soft, does not wobble. In the cabin: There is enough space, spacious, everything is conveniently located. The plastic is very high quality, crickets only in cold weather (very small) until the interior warms up. Spacious trunk, family mom, dad, daughter, for the weekend somewhere rolling is quite enough. The air conditioner works well, the butt is heated, I like the seats.

I'm happy with the car, it rolls and rolls, it has everything you need, it doesn't break down, it doesn't break down. What else do you need for the money? I'll change it soon. For what? I don't know yet. I’ll change it, I’ll go for a drive, I’ll write. Take care of yourselves, respect each other. Bye.

I bought my Corolla (hatchback) 2 years ago, so it was about 3 years old then – consider it almost new. I liked the appearance of the car, it was prettier than a sedan. Everything in the cabin is nice and comfortable, except for the pedals, which took some getting used to. The stove and air conditioner work without any complaints.

While driving, the cabin is quiet (especially after replacing the standard Bridgestone with a Michelin) and comfortable, but at idle there are vibrations. Handling and ride quality are good. The automatic works fine, but clearly takes away a little from the dynamics during active acceleration. Consumption of 92 in the city is approximately 10-11 liters.

With its small dimensions it is very convenient to drive around the city and make your way through all sorts of courtyards and alleys. High ground clearance (for a passenger car) and short bumpers (their lower part is made of some kind of elastic plastic) allow you to “storm” curbs, within reasonable limits, of course. There were practically no problems, which was to be expected.

As soon as the windshield wiper drive started grinding, I went to the service center and they said: it can’t be repaired, the entire assembly needs to be replaced, the price is about 500 USD. e. I think it’s expensive, I’ll see what’s there myself. And sure enough, I disassembled everything without any problems, cleaned it, lubricated it, all the squeaks disappeared.

There are slight knocks in the suspension on uneven surfaces, but as far as I've heard, many Corollas have this and can be ignored. After purchasing the spark plugs, I changed the oil and other consumables a year later. In general, the car is extremely successful.

Handling. Dimensions. Reliability. See another 1098 reviews of Toyota Corolla → Full review

Toyota Corolla fuel consumption owner reviews

The history of the Japanese compact car Toyota Corolla begins in 1966. To date, the sales volume of cars of this brand exceeds forty million units.

Buyers are offered a choice of five body styles: sedan, three- and five-door hatchback, liftback and station wagon.

Throughout its existence, the Toyota Corolla has gone through eleven generations with several facelifts and restylings and, according to the Guinness Book of Records, this car has become the best-selling car in the world. Production of the Corolla continues to this day.

Toyota Corolla 7th generation

The seventh generation of Toyota Corolla was produced from 1991 to 1995. The car has changed a lot in appearance, becoming more modern and aerodynamic. Gasoline engines installed on this model: volume 1.3 (power 75 and 88 hp), volume 1.6 (power 114 hp). The diesel engine is presented in a single copy with a displacement of 2.0 and a power of 72 hp.

Reviews of fuel consumption per 100 km Toyota Corolla VII

  • Vitaly, Chernomorsk. When the idea of changing the car arose, finances were very limited, so I purchased a 1994 Toyota Corolla with a 1.3 liter engine and minimal equipment. But this does not prevent me from feeling more than comfortable. Everything is at hand and the consumption is small - in the city no more than 8-9 liters.
  • Igor, Rostov. Toyota Corolla, 1993, 1.6, CVT.

I took the car from the second owner, but it was in good condition. I’ve been traveling myself for about a year, and I don’t have any incurable “diseases” yet. On the highway it’s generally beautiful - consumption does not exceed 6.5 liters. In the city 9 liters.

  • Mikhail, Novgorod. I have a Toyota Corolla with a 1.3 liter engine, but it is quite enough for normal movement, especially in the city. The car is very playful, dynamic, with a good start.

On average, 7-9 liters of gasoline are spent.

  • Vladislav, Perm. I bought the Corolla for myself; I drive around the city a lot every day; I bought it with the “comfort” package. The car is from 1995, 1.6 manual transmission. At different times of the year, with the air conditioning on, fuel costs reach 10 liters per hundred.
  • Stas, Kostroma. Toyota Corolla built in 1992, 1.3 l, manual.

My father gave me a car so that I could learn to drive, but it turned out to be very playful. I got used to it quite quickly, now I feel very confident on the road, maybe the reason is in a normal car. Gasoline consumption on the highway is from 5 liters, in the city 8.

  • Olga, Kyiv. For the wedding, the future husband gave a 1994 Toyota Corolla. Engine 1.

3 liters turned out to be not at all gluttonous: I move around the city slowly, so it takes about 8.5 liters. Outside the city 5-6.

Toyota Corolla 8th generation

From 1995 to 2000, the eighth generation of cars was produced, a completely new design, but the line of engines was preserved from the previous generation: gasoline - 1.3 (75 and 88 hp), 1.6 (114 hp); diesel 2.0 (72 hp). As in the seventh, eighth-generation engines are combined with automatic and manual transmissions.

Reviews of fuel consumption per 100 km Toyota Corolla VIII

  • Sergey, Lipetsk. Toyota Corolla, 1.3, MT. I bought the car without any bells and whistles, but despite this, it has everything you need for a comfortable pastime. Very comfortable and stable on any road surface. Consumption does not exceed 8 liters, on the highway – 6 liters.
  • Maxim, Moscow.

I got a Corolla about seven years ago, the car was built in 1999, 1.3 liter engine, MT. What I like most is that there is no problem finding spare parts, you can always find everything you need and the consumption is economical: 5-8 liters.

  • Philip, Syzran.

I love driving fast, so I drive my 1997 Corolla every chance I get. I really like how it takes off from a stop, but the consumption, of course, is appropriate - 8-12 liters of gasoline, but at the same time I get a lot of pleasure.

  • Yuri, Peter. Toyota Corolla 2000, 1.3, manual transmission.

I took the car in the most ordinary configuration, without any frills. But this did not affect comfort. I like the comfortable driving position, plenty of space for passengers, and a large trunk for things. Minimum consumption: city - 7-8 liters, highway 5-6 liters.

  • Alexey, Samara. Toyota Corolla 1997

I bought it to solve work issues, since I need to move around the city often. The car is great for city driving! Dynamics, power, stability – it’s all there. The 1.6 engine consumes up to 6 liters on the highway, up to 9 liters in the city.

  • Grigory, Ivanovo. I have a 1996 Toyota Corolla, 1.3 l, manual.

I’ve been using the car for 2.5 years now, sometimes I like a thoughtful drive, sometimes I’m in the mood to drive, the Corolla fits any driving style. Therefore, the consumption is different, from 7 to 9 liters in the city, 5-7 liters on the highway.

Toyota Corolla 9th generation

The ninth generation of Corolla was produced from 2000 to 2006. A facelift was carried out in 2002. This model earned the title of “Car of the Year”. Gasoline engines: volume 1.4 (power 97 hp), volume 1.6 (power 110 hp), volume 1.8 (power 136 hp); diesel: volume 1.9 (power 69 hp), volume 2.0 (power 90 hp)

Reviews of fuel consumption per 100 km Toyota Corolla IX

  • Timur, Yalta. I have a Toyota Corolla, 1.6 engine, CVT. I bought a car for intercity trips due to work. Despite her advanced age, she is very reliable and obedient. Gasoline consumption is 6 liters on the highway, 8 liters in city traffic.
  • Andrey, Magadan. For a long time I was looking for an undemanding but playful car, and I found it in a 2002 Toyota Corolla with a 1.4 engine.

The previous owner didn't treat it very well, but I put a little money and work into it and now the car is shining! She turned out to be quite lively, but with a normal appetite. On average, it takes about 7 liters of gasoline.

  • Sergey, Kaliningrad. I am the owner of a 2004 Corolla, 1.6 MT engine. Since I am no longer a young person, I like a quiet ride, so I chose a car with the comfort package.

If you drive with the air conditioning on, it reaches 10 l/100 km.

  • Vladimir, Ekaterinburg. I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla, it has been faithfully serving the whole family for five years. We travel often and over long distances, so we managed to appreciate the comfort of the interior, the softness of the suspension and the spaciousness of the trunk. On the highway it takes 6.5-7 liters, in the city 8-9. Motor 1.8.
  • Yaroslav, Omsk.

I bought a 2000 Corolla from a friend, 1.6 manual. I like to drive on country roads, so my consumption there is within 8 liters. In the city during the day about 9 liters, at night with an increase in speed limit - 10 liters per hundred.

  • Nikolay, Yaroslavl. I've been driving a 2004 Toyota Corolla with a 1.8 engine for three years now. We often travel to the capital on business, and in the city the car is always running.

We fill up very rarely; we use 6-9 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers.

  • Oleg, Stavropol. I like the Toyota Corolla 2002 for its updated appearance, which is completely different from previous generations, and also for its power, despite the small engine capacity (1.6 l). I can give a lot of people a head start at a traffic light. Consumption can be considered minimal: 6 liters highway and 9.5 liters city.
  • Pavel, Otradnoye.

With the new generation coming out I was waiting for deliveries as I had one of the older generation machines. And Corolla 9 did not disappoint: beautiful in appearance, good quality interior, spacious trunk. The car was produced in 2005, engine 1.6, AT. Consumption in the city is up to 10 liters, outside the city - 7-8.

  • Leonid, Moscow. I have a 2003 Toyota Corolla, 1.8, automatic.

The impressions during acceleration simply cannot be expressed in words – it presses you straight into your seat! And fuel consumption is very small - about 8.5 liters on city roads, 5-6 on country highways.

  • Dmitry, Kazan. Toyota Corolla, 2002, 1.6, manual transmission. I've owned the car for 2.5 years, it doesn't sit idle in the garage, I drive it everywhere, in any weather. I like its frost resistance and unpretentiousness to fuel.

The most interesting thing is that the consumption in the passport is indicated even more than it actually is! On average, it consumes 8 liters of gasoline.

Toyota Corolla 10th generation

At the end of 2006, the manufacturer introduced the tenth generation of Toyota Corolla. It was presented under different names in different countries. It was equipped with the following gasoline engines: 1.

3 (101 horses), 1.4 (97 horses), 1.6 (124 horses). Types of diesel engines: 1.4 (90 horses), 2.0 (126 horses).

Mated to five-speed manual and automatic gearboxes.

Reviews of fuel consumption per 100 km Toyota Corolla X

  • Artem, Kurgan. Toyota Corolla assembly 2010, 1.3, 100 horses. At first I thought that the engine power was not enough for such a car, but after trying it, I changed my mind. As a result, my car doesn’t drive – it flies! It rips from a stop, has enough traction when overtaking, and breakdowns rarely occur. Consumption up to 8 liters.
  • Victor, Shakhty.

A year ago I picked up a 2008 Corolla from a neighbor. I know that he was following her, because we are friends, and I traveled with him several times. The car is like a doll, everything is original, everything shines, I only change consumables. A 1.4 liter engine in the city consumes up to 7.5 liters of gasoline per hundred kilometers.

  • Maxim, Almaty. I bought a 2011 Toyota Corolla, 1.4 l engine, MT.

The car was meant to be a family car; I often drive my family on errands. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of space, but everyone is accommodated comfortably. And the savings on gasoline are 7 liters on average.

  • Roman, Naberezhnye Chelny. Two years ago I bought a 2007 Corolla with a 1.3 engine as standard.

I drive it often, but it serves me faithfully; I have complete confidence on the road. And the consumption is pleasing: on the highway it takes 5.5-6 liters, in the city up to 10 with air conditioning.

  • Oleg, St. Petersburg. My Toyota Corolla 2010 was purchased from the first owner with a mileage of 110 thousand kilometers.

For me, the suspension is a little stiff, but on good roads it just flies. Diesel consumption is very low: the 1.4 engine consumes 5 liters on the highway. In the city until 8.

  • Sergey, Odintsovo. Toyota Corolla 2006, 1.3, manual transmission. At different times of the year, consumption varies. In the summer in the city it takes up to 7 liters, on the highway up to 5 liters.

In winter, consumption increases by approximately a liter. If you drive at high speeds, then add another 0.5-1 liter.

  • Peter, Anapa. When I was going to buy a Toyota Corolla, I read a lot of all sorts of reviews and couldn’t believe that fuel consumption was so low.

It turned out that with moderate driving outside the city, about 4 liters of diesel are spent! It was just a shock! Model 2010, engine 1.4.

  • Stanislav, Orel. I am the owner of a 2011 Corolla, 1.4, diesel. The car was driven by relatives; I didn’t think that with such dimensions it would be so economical. On average, 5.5-6 liters of fuel are spent per 100 kilometers.

But despite this, it is quite fast and has enough power.

  • Yana, Sochi. For our wedding, our parents gave us a 2011 Toyota Corolla. At first my husband went, but then I became interested myself. There is always an opportunity to learn, especially since fuel costs are not burdensome; on average, it takes 6 liters of diesel. Engine 1.4.

  • Vladimir, Irkutsk. Toyota Corolla 2008, 1.6, automatic transmission. The car is solid, but not without a sporty spirit. The engine has enough power to keep the rear ones from falling into traffic. I overtake confidently, corner like a glove, excellent dynamics. And the consumption is just a fairy tale: 6-9 liters.

Toyota Corolla 11th generation

In mid-2012, sales of the eleventh generation Corolla began, the production of which continues to this day. The model is equipped with the following types of gasoline engines: 1.3 capacity with 99 horsepower, 1.6 capacity with 122 horsepower, 1.8 capacity with 140 horsepower. Also, 1.5-liter hybrid engines are installed for the Japanese domestic market.

Reviews of fuel consumption per 100 km Toyota Corolla XI

  • Andrey, Kyiv. This is not my first Toyota Corolla, before it there was a 9th generation model, and now I have become the owner of a 2013 car. The consumption was still small. Now the 1.8 engine takes up to 10 liters of fuel in the city with air conditioning.
  • Roman, Tiraspol. Toyota Corolla 2012, 1.6 l, “comfort”. Of course, driving performance has improved, and the appearance is quite modern. Everything is in its place, there is nothing to complain about. Consumption after running in was established at 9 liters in the city and 7 on the highway.
  • Ruslan, Ukhta. We have a 2015 Toyota Corolla with a 1.3 engine. Although this is the smallest engine, it’s no slouch; getting ahead in the traffic is not a problem. Consumption is generally minimal: 5-7.5 liters.
  • Stanislav, Tomsk. I often travel intercity for work reasons, so I bought a 2015 Corolla with a 1.8 engine. It flies along the highway like an arrow! Dynamics is a plus! I was afraid that there would be a lot of consumption, but practice has shown that on the highway with a condo it only takes 7 liters.
  • Mikhail, Moscow. I am the owner of a 2014 Toyota Corolla and have been driving it for six months now. After the purchase, I drove it to Moscow, managed to evaluate the dynamics, reliability, and consumption on the highway (6 liters for the 1.6 engine). And the power is good, you can load even passengers, even the trunk, but it doesn’t affect the driving performance. Arthur, Anthracite.
  • I got the Corolla from my father, who switched to an SUV. The car is 2013, practically new, excellent condition. The 1.8 engine pulls so hard that you are pressed into your seat at the slightest pressure on the gas pedal. At the same time, consumption in the city does not exceed 9.5 liters.
  • Georgy, Nizhnevartovsk. I have a 2014 Toyota Corolla, 1.8 engine, automatic. The car is very convenient for traveling around the city - oversized, maneuverable, fast. And going out into nature is not a problem. The high-torque engine makes it possible to load the interior and trunk well; a lot of things fit. Consumption with an average load is about 8 liters on average.
  • Yaroslav, Surgut. I drove a 2015 Corolla from another city. I drove in winter, so I was able to make sure that the car did not seem to be an SUV, but there were no problems with slippery roads or skidding. The 1.6 engine consumes 8 liters on the highway and 10 in the city in winter.
  • Ivan, Moscow. Toyota Corolla 2012, 1.8, automatic transmission. I like to drive fast, I don’t particularly save fuel, but even at the highest speed or when the car was loaded, the maximum consumption rate was 12 liters per hundred.
  • Yuri, Kursk. I bought the car at a dealership, now I am the owner of a 2015 Toyota Corolla. I took it with a 1.6 engine on the manual, so that there was power and not a lot of fuel was required. But a surprise awaited me: I got a beast with minimal consumption: 6-9 liters.
